Darby Studios was founded by Alex Darby.

Alex Darby is a hyper-generalist.

Her unapologetically interdisciplinary work spans art, tech, culture, and entrepreneurship, with process as the driving force behind all her projects. Darby works with and for creatives, artists, solopreneurs, studios, start ups, businesses, and cultural orgs, fostering artistic practice and building healthy, sustainable businesses.

Darby is deeply passionate about the role of technology in both art and business with the strong belief that the tech should enable, not overwhelm. She is passionate about entrepreneurship for all, and particularly interested in the application of entrepreneurial thinking to independent businesses.

Her projects and collaborations have seen her working with organizations such as The Biennale of Sydney, Dallas Aurora, NEW INC, New Museum, Nokia Bell Labs, NYC Jewelry Week, and her work has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, Creators Project, WIRED, Fast Co. Design, and on Pix11 Morning News.

In her not-so-spare time, she works on her jewelry line, curates speculative jewelry platform The Jewelry Phone, and both teaches and speaks on entrepreneurship.
